In September 2017, I volunteered to teach at the Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association school in Manali, India. This experience has really stuck with me, and I enjoyed it so much so that I actually ended up leading the trip in the following year. The charity I volunteered with is CAREducation Trust, and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their amazing efforts in transforming the lives of those less fortunate than us. Their mission statement is "to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged and naturally challenged children around the world, through education."
