👋🏼 Hey there! I'm Bawar...
I'd describe myself as an adaptable problem-solver with a passion for bringing complex, invisible data to life.
If you are curious about what I do and how I spend my time, here is a quick look into my world, my background, and what I love doing most.
🎓 My Academic Roots
I completed my PhD and post-doctoral research at the University of Nottingham. During my time there, my work focused heavily on the intersection of engineering and cutting-edge software. I deep-dived into fields like electromagnetics, real-time simulation, and power electronics.
💡 My Core Expertise
My main goal is to make highly complex scientific systems much easier for people to understand. To do that, I mix engineering with advanced software development:
- Augmented Reality (AR): I design immersive tools that let engineers, technicians, and students "see" invisible forces, like thermal behaviors and electromagnetic fields, layered directly onto physical objects.
- Real-Time Simulation: I build computational models and accelerated 3D visualization tools that process data instantly, rather than waiting hours for a simulation to run.
- Virtual Prototyping: I create digital twins for power electronics, which allows industries like semiconductor and automotive manufacturing to test their designs virtually before ever building a physical part.
🚀 What I Am Up To Now
While my background is deeply academic, I have taken those problem-solving skills into the corporate world. Today, I work as a Tech Consultant at Capco. In this role, I leverage my engineering mindset and tech background to help businesses in the Financial Services sector transform their digital platforms, streamline their operations, and build smarter software solutions.
Whether I am coding a real-time 3D model, figuring out how mixed reality can improve a factory floor, or helping a financial institution update its tech stack, I always focus on making complex things simple, useful, and accessible.
