Just staring at blankness of a new page is enough to deter me from ever starting. The overwhelming absence of anything on the page makes me feel like anything I add to it will somehow be wrong.
I find that the same thing happens when I first begin working on a project of any kind. Self-doubt kicks in and I immediately fixate on the infinite number of reasons why I shouldn't take on the job.
